Re: Project tow monster

The bolt pattern is different between a OBS and superduty but if you are still running the same tires you had at the rally then you really really need to get some tire on that thing LOL

Re: Project tow monster

That would make sense... lol. Opps. I'd still take the tires! I need to get another match to my set for my spare... I picked up a wheel from Wade last year off his truck (same truck as mine, guy I brought to the Rally last year) but it must fit differently, cause it is grinding my spare into the leaf springs.

Re: Project tow monster

sorry havent been on for a few days my computer crashed, but anyway I sold the wheels and tires to a local guy last thursday. the truck has been on blocks since LOL I'm am searching for a new bed right now. trying to find a dually bed so I can get tires that will match it rather than buying tires twice. I do have all the stuff to rebuild the frond end sitting here, hopefully I can get it fixed and throw some junk tires I have laying around on it so I can drive it and figure out the issues with the engine and transmission.

Re: Project tow monster

My doctor finally reliesed me so I can lift what ever I want again !
lol

so its back to work on the truck. I decided to start with the front end so I could drive it to figure out the other issues. I have all new ball joints in, new axel u-joints and a new drag link. just have to repack thewheel bearings and slap all that back together and it'll be ready to drive

Re: Project tow monster

I put about 20 miles on it so far after getting the front end back together and the transmission seems to be shifting fine, so I may luck out on that. the truck also seems to be running better the more I drive it. I replaced the ipr a couple weeeks ago and didn't think that helped it but I am wandering now if i just needed to get all the air worked out after replaceing it. gonna keep driveing it and see what happens

Re: Project tow monster

the front seat was red and the base was broke down, so I pulled it out and pulled the grey seat out of my wreckef truck witch has a broken back and made them one. and I'm going to put a seat cover on it and put it in the back. I took the good brown back seat out of the truck and put it up front.
